Deposit methods supported on Exchange22

Exchange22 supports three deposit methods for Indian players:

1. UPI (recommended)

UPI is the fastest deposit method on Exchange22. The minimum is ₹100, deposits land instantly, and there are no fees. Supported UPI apps include Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, and most bank-issued UPI handles.

2. Net banking

Net banking works with most major Indian banks (SBI, HDFC, ICICI, Axis, Kotak, PNB, and others). The minimum is ₹100, deposits take 1–3 minutes, and there's no fee. Use net banking if you don't have a UPI handle or prefer direct bank transfers.

3. Wallets (limited)

A few third-party wallets (Paytm Wallet, Mobikwik) are supported for deposits, but not all of them allow withdrawals back to the same wallet. For a smooth experience, deposit with UPI and withdraw with UPI.

How to deposit on Exchange22

  1. Open Exchange22 and sign in.
  2. Tap My Wallet → Add Cash.
  3. Enter the amount. Minimum ₹100. If you have the EXCH22 code, type it into the "Have a bonus code?" field before you choose the payment method.
  4. Choose UPI, net banking, or a wallet.
  5. Approve the payment. For UPI, approve the collect request in your UPI app. For net banking, log in and authorise. The cash lands in your cash wallet within 1–3 minutes.

Withdrawal methods and timing

Withdrawals are paid out via UPI or direct bank transfer, depending on what you used to deposit. If you deposited via UPI, your withdrawals will go back to the same UPI handle. If you deposited via net banking, the withdrawal goes back to the same bank account.

From our testing across six withdrawals (₹500 to ₹8,400), five cleared in under 15 minutes. The largest one took 38 minutes. The official Exchange22 window is "up to 24 hours" but in practice it's much faster.

Minimum withdrawal

The minimum withdrawal on Exchange22 is ₹200. There is no maximum per transaction, but very large withdrawals (above ₹1,00,000) may be split across multiple UPI transfers or reviewed manually.

KYC requirement

You must complete PAN + Aadhaar KYC before your first withdrawal. See our KYC walkthrough for the full process. Deposits work without KYC; withdrawals don't.

Tip: Always withdraw to the same UPI handle or bank account you deposited from. Cross-method withdrawals (deposit via net banking, withdraw to UPI) usually require additional verification and can take 24–48 hours.

What to do if a deposit doesn't show up

  1. Wait 5 minutes — most UPI deposits clear in under 2 minutes, but delays happen.
  2. Check your UPI app to confirm the payment was successful (look for the UPI reference number).
  3. Open Exchange22 → My Wallet → Transaction History. The deposit will show as "Pending" if it's processing.
  4. If it's still missing after 30 minutes, open the in-app chat with the UPI reference number. Support usually resolves these within an hour.

What to do if a withdrawal is delayed

  1. Check the withdrawal status in My Wallet → Transaction History.
  2. Confirm your KYC is fully cleared (My Profile → Verification).
  3. If the status is "Processing" for more than 4 hours, open the in-app chat with the transaction ID.
  4. Most delayed withdrawals clear within 24 hours; if not, support will tell you the specific reason.
