Search by team and role
The Exchange22 players tab inside the app gives you a search bar and a series of filters. The most useful filters are team, role, credit range and "in form this week". Combine the last two to find value picks that the field is sleeping on.
Filter combinations that work
- All-rounders under 9 credits: finds differential captains on balanced pitches.
- Bowlers over 10 credits with high recent form: finds premium strike bowlers for green tracks.
- Wicketkeepers priced 8–9: finds the second-choice keeper differential when the top keeper is heavily picked.
- Top-order batters in a specific team: stacks a side on a flat-track day.
Role breakdown on Exchange22
The team builder on Exchange22 enforces four role buckets plus flex. Knowing the role split in the player pool helps you find value picks that fit your credit plan.

Credit ranges and what they mean
Player prices on Exchange22 sit between 7 and 11 credits. Prices update after every match based on recent points per game. A premium player who underperforms drops a credit; a differential who hauls climbs a credit. Use the credit band as a quick proxy for expected contribution.
What each band tells you
- 11 credits: the absolute top — usually the team captain, a star all-rounder or a wicketkeeper-batter.
- 10 credits: the second tier — top-order anchors, strike pacers, premier spinners.
- 9 credits: the value tier — strong all-rounders, in-form bowlers, second batters.
- 8 credits: the bench tier — role fillers and rotation options.
- 7 credits: the differential tier — uncapped players, lower-order batters, part-timers.
Recent form and points per match
Form on Exchange22 is a rolling 5-match average of fantasy points. The number is shown next to each player in the team builder and updates within minutes of a match ending. Players averaging above 60 points per match are usually captaincy candidates; players below 30 points per match are bench options.
Form bands
- Hot (75+ PPM): must-pick in current form, but captain with caution — reversion to mean is likely.
- In-form (50–75 PPM): reliable picks, safe captaincy on balanced pitches.
- Average (30–50 PPM): role fillers, only pick if the role is short on better options.
- Cold (under 30 PPM): bench-only unless the match-up is unusually favourable.
