What the EXCH22 bonus actually is

The EXCH22 code unlocks the standard Exchange22 welcome offer: a matched deposit bonus, applied as bonus cash to a separate "Bonus Wallet" inside the app. The match percentage and the cap vary slightly by season and by promotional window, but the structure is the same: deposit cash, get bonus cash, unlock the bonus by playing.

It is not free withdrawable cash on deposit. The bonus funds sit in a separate wallet, and you have to meet the wagering rules before they convert to real cash you can pull out.

The four rules that matter

1. Minimum deposit: ₹100

The EXCH22 code only triggers on a first deposit of ₹100 or more. If you deposit ₹50, no bonus. The minimum is the same for UPI, net banking, and supported wallets.

2. Wagering: contest entry value

You have to "wager" the bonus by entering contests whose total entry value equals the bonus amount. For example, a ₹200 bonus requires you to enter contests totalling ₹200 in entry fees. Practice (free) contests do not count.

3. Eligible contests: paid cricket only

Only paid cricket contests count toward wagering. Football, basketball, and kabaddi contests do not. Practice contests do not. Some "special" contests (private H2H, season-long leaderboards) may or may not count — check the contest details.

4. Expiry: 30 days from deposit

The bonus and any associated winnings expire 30 days after the deposit. After that, unused bonus cash is removed from your bonus wallet. Convert it before the deadline.

EXCH22 vs the referral code

You may have seen "refer a friend" codes in ads. Those are different from EXCH22. The welcome code is for new accounts. The referral code is for users who have already signed up and want a smaller bonus when a friend joins. They can sometimes be stacked in the same season, but always read the terms in the app before assuming.

What to do if the bonus didn't land

1. Check that the code was typed in all caps (EXCH22, not exch22).
2. Confirm the deposit was ₹100 or more.
3. Open My Bonuses in the app — the bonus may have landed but in a separate wallet.
4. If it's still missing, open the in-app chat with a screenshot of the deposit confirmation. Support can usually apply the bonus retroactively within 24 hours.
